If you need more sophisticated methods of assisted reproduction such as IVF/ICSI or combination of targeted treatments for infertility, IVF Donation team can help you to achieve a successful pregnancy providing a specialized treatment.
Indications of IVF:
- Blocked or non-functional fallopian tubes
- Sperm abnormalities
- Severe or mild endometriosis
- Low ovarian reserve

- Ovulation problems which cannot be managed with ovulation induction and artificial insemination
- Other infertility treatment fails

What are the stages of this procedure?
First stage: Ovarian stimulation
The ovarian production of eggs can be stimulated by fertility medicines (multiple egg production) or naturally during monthly ovulation (only one – or two – egg production).
Second stage: Egg retrieval
Under sedation, the mature eggs are collected from the ovaries while the partner gives a sperm sample. Then, the biological material (ovum and sperm) is processed and placed in a culture dish containing growth medium (the ICSI procedure is often performed in this stage).
After 8 – 20 hours , the embryologist will determine how many eggs are fertilized resulting in embryos.
Third stage: Embryo transfer
On day 5, one or two embryo(s) are transferred in the uterus through a plastic tiny tube passing into the cervix (this procedure is painless and it does not need pain relief medication).
Successful IVF means that a healthy embryo is implanted into the uterus, so the pregnancy test gets positive 12 days after the procedure.
How long does the IVF procedure take?
The procedure from the beginning of the medical treatment till the day of embryo transfer will take approximately 2 weeks.
